We are in need of Community Health Workers to join our team. These professionals advocate for their patients in a community setting, promoting and improving health.
Responsibilities include:
- Following occupational safety and health procedures
- Assessing, triaging, and treating patients
- Providing compassionate and respectful care
- Maintaining patient confidentiality
- Reporting suspected and confirmed cases
- Providing accurate IPC and public health information (//opor.ng)
- Properly using and disposing of PPE
- Monitoring for signs of illness and reporting
- Advising management on stress or mental health challenges
Requirements:
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Understanding of the healthcare system
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's degree in social work, healthcare, nursing, or related field preferred.
