Equipped with an automated slicing controller, it can be placed on either the left or right side. Even when the automated slicing controller is off, you can still perform semi-auto slicing or trimming.

The microtome features a pure-green digital display that shows the slice thickness, trimming thickness, slice count, and slice speed. This makes it easy to set and adjust the desired parameters.

The section thickness setting range is 0.25—100μm, and the trimming thickness setting range is 1—600μm. The minimum setting for sectioning thickness is 0.25μm. The feed speed is adjustable from 1500μm/s to 3500μm/s.
