Grasscutter, Alimosho

Grasscutter (thryonomys swinderianus) are large African rodents. They are a good source of protein. Just like other animals, we have local breed and foreign breeds of grasscutters available. These bush animals are prolific and become sexually matured at 5-6 months of age. They give birth to 6-12 litters at a time. Grasscutters hardly fall sick and only need deworming once in a while. We sell both Growers and matured colonies.
